The standard Chess-a-Tête base deck is balanced and versatile, but you can customise it to enhance competition, variety, and unpredictability. Swap out Pawns and Action Cards from your base deck to create your own unique deck.
Each expansion pack includes 16 new cards: 1 special Power Piece or Royal Piece, 2 new Pawn cards pairs and 3 new Action Cards for each deck.
Expansions come with identical cards in both black and white, allowing you to play with your preferred deck or give your opponent the same cards as you....Or not.
DECKBUILDING
Follow a one-for-one rule: if you remove a card (e.g., a Pawn), you must replace it with a card of the same type (another Pawn). This keeps your deck balanced and tournament-ready.
